Why the Holmes family? I've included the Holmes family because it was another trail to research for the Holmes House NRHP nomination. I'm not sure whether any of the Holmes were "important" or not. I was fortunate to make contact with Lambert Holmes, a grandson of Henry and Bessie, and he shared photographs and family stories with me.
