Claw-Footed Jackalope This rare”Claw-Footed Jackalope” is a nocturnal animal, member of the Bulushittorius genus. The “Claw-Foot” is prized for his antlers which are ground up and used as an aphrodisiac in Illinois. Delicious when cooked, chefs report its taste similar to chicken. Klutz Press, Palo Alto, CA

GS.42-Jackalope This nearly extinct antlered species of rabbit is found almost exclusively on the high plains of Wyoming. A distinguishing characteristic is his ability to mimic human sounds. His lonely cry, which resembles a mournful singing, can sometimes be heard on moonlit nights. During daylight hours the Jackalope hides among rocks and sagebrush. Dwindling herds of sandhills Warrior Rabbits are thought to exist only in the beautiful Sand Hills of Nebraska.
